Your daily drawdown limit on this account is $500.00 (5% of equity, rolling 24h — floating PnL counts). Max overall drawdown is 10% ($1,000.00). Keep total open risk well below the daily limit; three losers at 1% each is $300.00.
How the calculation works
Lot size = (account size × risk %) ÷ (stop loss in pips × pip value per lot). Pip value is derived from the contract size and pip step of the instrument — for USD-quoted pairs it is fixed ($10 per pip on a standard FX lot, $10 per 0.1 move on gold), and for USD-based pairs such as USD/JPY it is divided by the current price. Results are rounded down to 0.01 lots so you never risk more than intended.
